200亚洲优秀未上市公司入围 Red Herring 亚洲100评选
Red Herring正式宣布200家亚洲优秀的未上市公司入围每年一次的 “Red Herring 亚洲 100” 的评选。此次评选总共接收了来自亚洲的600多家公司的有效申请。这些公司集中在电信，web2.0，软件，硬件，生物科技和能源等相关领域，遍布西至土耳其、哈萨克斯坦，南至澳大利亚、新西兰，东到日本、韩国以及涵盖中国、印度、东南亚。此奖项迄今为止评选了两届，评选的依据主要是科技创新，管理团队，市场现状，投资情况，消费需求和财务状况。在经济全球化的今天，获奖企业将不但获得来自全球科技业的关注，同时这项殊荣将为他们带来来自世界各地的客户、供应商以及投资人。去年获此殊荣并成功上市的公司有如无锡尚德太阳能和中星微电子，成功并融资并兼其他公司的有如芯原微电子、千橡和网友等等。

以前看过《圈子圈套》，原文见：『推荐』《圈子圈套》－IT商战的经典描绘。
写的非常朴实，最主要的是贴近IT业界，就像发生在我们身边的事情，感觉和熟悉和亲切。
前几天，逛公司旁边的一个书刊市场（见：推荐沈阳买书的好地方－中国沈阳书刊批发市场），看到《圈子圈套》2 已经出来了，就买了一本。结果一直忙，没有时间看，这两天老婆出差，自己带孩子，在孩子学习之余，索性拿出来看看。
写的依然紧张、精彩，情节环环相扣，引人入胜，值得一读。
但是对于那些初入市场、刚刚步入人生舞台的销售人员，一定要从中吸取正面的东西，不要偏颇，不要过分的追求其中的尔虞我诈，尽管商场上的确存在这样、那样的诱惑和圈套，但是不论如何，人还是要真诚、善良，正直、无私，才能达到心中的理想的。
电子版的还没有独立的版本，可以上作者王强的Blog上看看，有些评论很有意思。

【赛迪网讯】8月26日消息，据国外媒体报道，业内分析师Walter Pritchard日前表示，面对竞争对手在安全市场的大肆并购，惠普将来很可能通过收购赛门铁克或迈克菲（McAfee）来弥补该领域的空白。
据CRN报道，IBM以13亿美元收购安全软件及服务供应商ISS，EMC以21亿美元并购RSA，以及Novell收购eSecurity等等，均给惠普带来了巨大的压力。
据Gartner数据显示，IT整体开销的年增长率大约在5%，而安全开销每年的涨幅却高达10%。因此，Gartner安全领域分析师John Pescatore认为：“IT厂商要实现高速增长，就应该着眼于安全市场。”
许多分析师都认为，下一个在安全领域展开并购的将是惠普公司。Pescatore认为，惠普可能收购Sourcefire或CheckPoint。但Cowen分析师Walter Pritchard却并不这样认为。
Pritchard认为，惠普可能收购赛门铁克或迈克菲。而RBC资本市场分析师Robert Breza则认为，对于惠普而言，迈克菲似乎比赛门铁克更具吸引力。
一直有些合作伙伴，原来不是做安全的，甚至不是IT行业的，在和他们老总聊的时候，有时候大家就会问道：“哪些行业有安全的需求？我的精力应该放在哪些领域？”
多年以前（大约是90年代末）我整理过一个小文档给我的Sales，现在看看可以提供给我们的合作伙伴，哪些行业有安全需求呢？泛泛的讲，有网络的地方、有PC的地方、甚至有手机的地方都有安全需求，但是不同的行业资金、政策要求等都不同，因此可能需要关注、投入的力量也不同。
时间过去很久，有些行业已经发生了很大变化，希望大家自己再整理、补充，但是一些基本的行业变化不大，因此希望可以给大家一个参考：

2006年，我们听到“管理咨询”这个词可能比任何一年都要多。从7799到SOX，从金融到税务，从大机构到小企业，很多人都投向了咨询公司和咨询顾问的怀抱，咨询是否真的能带来效益我不敢肯定，不过咨询的旋风正在四处扩散是不争的现实。
我哥哥是从事传统行业－装饰材料－生意的，他也算是进入这个行业比较早的，大概从80年代末、90年代初就开始进入，也在广州驻在了几年，对这个行业还算是比较了解，经营范围从原来的给别人打工、对缝，到自己有自己的床位、自己有自己的库房、门市，生意也是越做越大。
他也是比较有激情那种人，随着生意的发展，在中国家具城比较早的做了自己的网站：嘉兴窗饰（www.jia-xing.cn）；并且和我嫂子开始对员工进行了一些早期的企业发展、企业文化方面的管理和投资，而且前一段听说还在自费的读MBA，有点过份。
前几天突然给我电话，告诉我在三好街呢，我很纳闷，平时忙的从来不离开中国家具城的他怎么这么有空？告诉我正在做一个管理咨询的项目，请了某个咨询公司在做企业管理、企业发展方面的咨询。
嘿，挺出乎我的意料！虽然这几年哥哥的生意小有成就，但是我想能够在普遍素质不是很高的装饰材料这个传统行业能够有这样的理念的人也不是很多。
过后和哥哥聊了很多，他对自己的企业也有很多的思考和想法，也是踌躇满志，跃跃欲试！
我又对于咨询公司的各个方面进行了一些了解，也将咨询中容易出现问题的地方、容易导致咨询失败的地方告诉了他。
一段时间之后，再看到他，依然兴致勃勃，充满拼劲，看样子还咨询得挺美！
不能不说管理咨询的触角已经开始伸向中小企业了，你 做好准备了吗？

今天看到这样一篇报道：“转嫁”信息安全风险 。
看了有些感触：安全外包服务的优点很多，勿庸置疑，但是我总感觉安全外包服务的最大的软肋在于：你给用户提供了安全外包服务，你就能保证不出事情吗？出了事情谁来承担责任呢？
大家都知道网络和信息安全事件可以导致很多的危害，有些是有直接经济指标可以衡量的，有些却不能用金钱来衡量：比如某政府的网站背XX功黑了，你说应该赔偿多少呢？XX地税的信息被窃取了，你说应该赔偿纳税人多少钱呢？
所以对于安全外包服务就一直有所顾虑，不知大家认为呢？
